Every week of the academic year, I commute by train, plane, auto, and subway from my home in London, Ontario, to my classes at MIT, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. My commute begins when I leave the house in Canada at 7 a.m. on Tuesday’s, and ends when I return home, at about 3 p.m. Wednesday if I don’t teach a Wednesday morning class, or about 10 p.m. Wednesday night, if I do. And these are the things that catch my eye as I make #TheEndlessCommute
